Every queued file shows source size, projected encoded size, NCLC, Mbps, fps, and duration in a single compact readout — so you can see exactly what's about to happen before it does. Drag the Quality slider and the time and size estimates update instantly across the whole batch, factoring in your scale and codec settings. Dial in the sweet spot between file size and quality once, then encode everything with confidence.
Color.
Pick your path: HEVC 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 10-bit when fidelity comes first, H.264 when compatibility does. NCLC tags — BT.601, BT.709, BT.2020 — are written correctly across all three, including the SD/HD matrix heuristics that VideoToolbox applies under the hood for 4:2:2 sources and that other encoders quietly get wrong. And if a source arrived mistagged, you can edit the color tags directly on output — no separate utility, no command-line patches, no hex editor — so your colorist's intent survives the trip, even when the source didn't.
Burn.
Render timecode, filenames, source paths, and custom text directly into picture. Burn-ins are anti-aliased, properly kerned, and configurable per-job, so dailies and review copies leave the app ready to share.
Scale.
Hit 1080p, 720p, or any custom resolution without losing quality at the smaller sizes. MrEncode compensates bitrate per-codec at reduced resolutions — H.264 and HEVC need different curves — so half-res deliverables actually look like half-res masters, not over-compressed previews.
