MrEncode is a video encoding application developed by Gray Robot. This privacy policy explains how MrEncode handles your information. The short version: it doesn't collect any.
Information We Collect
None. MrEncode does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, telemetry, or analytics. The application runs entirely on your local device.
How MrEncode Handles Your Files
When you encode video with MrEncode, the application processes files locally on your Mac. Source files and output files remain on your device and are never transmitted to Gray Robot or any third party. MrEncode does not upload, copy, or send your video content anywhere outside your local file system.
Network Activity
MrEncode does not make any network connections. The application does not contact Gray Robot servers, third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. You can verify this with standard macOS network monitoring tools such as Little Snitch or the built-in Activity Monitor.
Third-Party Services
MrEncode does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services or SDKs.
Children's Privacy
MrEncode does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Regional Privacy Laws
Because MrEncode collects no personal data, there is no data subject to disclosure, deletion, or portability requests under regulations such as the EU GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Changes to This Policy
